Patient Demographics

As a board-certified Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist, I work with patients age 6-60 from all backgrounds. Whether you or your child are struggling with anxiety, OCD, ADHD, peripartum mood issues, or trauma, I am here to help. I understand that your psychiatric condition is not just a diagnosis, but a complex interaction of your personality, relationships, and life experiences. I respect and appreciate your cultural and individual diversity, and how it influences your sense of self and well-being. I also pay close attention to any medical issues or lifestyle factors that may affect your or your child’s functioning and happiness.

I utilize evidence-based medicine in my approach to psychopharmacology, which means that I refer to the best available scientific research to guide my treatment decisions. However, I also recognize that every person and situation is unique, and sometimes the research doesn’t apply perfectly to any particular case. In those situations, I use my clinical judgment and experience to find the best approach for you or your child.
